1. GENERAL INFORMATION
OneAreWe, LLC. (“
OneAreWe” or "
we" or “
us” or “
our”) owns and operates the website, OneAreWe.com. The OneAreWe Site shall hereafter be referred to as “OAW”. Any person or entity that accesses or uses OAW shall be defined as a User (“
User” or “
Users”). We take measures to prevent unauthorized access to and/or misuse of data about Users. OneAreWe does not share User data with third parties for marketing purposes unless the User expressly does so on the website. Although we do not employ tracking devices for marketing purposes, we do allow you to opt-in and opt-out of certain communications regarding new offers and information about our services that pertain to your user type ("
business", "
nonprofit", "
neighbor"). Through our Neighbor Listing Services ("
Listings" or "
Neighbor Listings") and associated electronic communications, we leverage email proxies and relay services to provide privacy protection for our Neighbor Users. We leverage reCAPTCHA where appropriate and the use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google
Privacy Policy and
Terms of Use.
California Users should understand the California Consumer Privacy Act and how it applies by visiting the
California Attorney General's website. Users have the right to request that we disclose the data and information we collect, use and disclose. Users also have the right to request the deletion of data that we have collected with some exceptions. You may submit a request to know or delete this collected information at info@onearewe.com or on our
contact page. Only the Users themselves or someone they designate and authorize in writing may make a request to know or delete User data. OneAreWe will confirm your identify through means such as a valid government issued ID before processing this request. Although we will fully comply with this request, some User content may exist elsewhere on the internet.
2. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit OAW, we automatically collect certain information about a User's device, including information about a User's web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on a User's device. Additionally, as Users browse the Site, we may collect information about the individual OAW pages or products that Users view, what websites or search terms referred Users to OAW, and information about how Users interact with OAW. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
- “Log files” track actions occurring on OAW, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
- “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
Additionally when Users set up an Account Profile or make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through OAW, we collect certain information about the User including name, email address, postal address and phone number. Business or Nonprofit Users on the site should also be aware that we also collect information about your business including business description, job title, descriptions of products and services, goals of your organization and Tax ID for nonprofits. Payment information (including credit card numbers, email address, and phone number) is collected through Stripe (“OAW Payment Processor”). We refer to this information as “Order Information.”
When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.
3. HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through OAW (including processing your payment information, processing Certificates, and providing you with receipts and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
- Communicate with Users;
- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
- When in line with the preferences Users have shared with us, provide information or advertising relating to products or services described on OAW.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize OAW (for example, by generating analytics about how Users browse and interact with OAW, and to assess the success of our community outreach, marketing and advertising campaigns.
4. SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may share User Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. For example, we use
Google Analytics to help us understand how Users interact with OAW. Users can also opt-out of Google Analytics
here. We may also share User Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
As described above, we use User Personal Information to provide User's with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest along with updates, news and information about OneAreWe and our community-driven mission. here. Users can opt-in and opt-out of these services within your Account Profile page. Additionally, Users can opt out of some of these services by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out portal

5. TRACKING, DATA RETENTION, CHANGES AND CONTACT INFORMATION
Please note that we do not alter OAW’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from a User's browser. When Users make a purchase through Offers and Listings on OAW, we track the certificate and associated redemption through a unique system generated identifier. OAW is intended for adults and not intended for individuals under the age of 18 (21 in Mississippi). We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. Users are solely responsible for checking for updates and agree to the Privacy Policy. Users as defined above are responsible to check the Privacy Policy and agree to the Privacy Policy set forth herein.
